Wilson County has grown fast, from Mt. Juliet’s subdivisions along Lebanon Rd and Providence to Lebanon’s older neighborhoods around the square and the farms out toward Watertown and Norene. We roof all of it, including metal roofs on farm buildings, with our own crews. If you’re not sure your roof made it through the last storm, we’ll check it for free.

Wilson County at a glance. County seat: Lebanon. Based in Murfreesboro since 2010. About 40 minutes from our Nashville shop. Our own crews, never subcontractors. Veteran-owned by Navy Combat Veteran Don Hane. A-rated with the BBB. Open 24 hours, every day.

Do you need a permit to replace a roof in Wilson County?

In unincorporated Wilson County, a straight re-roof generally doesn’t need a county permit. The county Building Codes office enforces the 2021 IRC, and its list of residential work that needs a permit covers new homes, additions, remodels that change structural loads, pools and accessory buildings. Re-roofing isn’t on the list. If the job turns structural, we check with the office at the Courthouse Annex, 233 E Gay St, in Lebanon.

Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown run their own permit offices, and we follow their rules inside city limits.

What storms have hit Wilson County roofs?

The March 3, 2020 tornado that started in Nashville kept going into Wilson County, hitting Mt. Juliet hard and reaching toward Lebanon. A year later, on March 25, 2021, an EF-0 touched down near the Nashville Superspeedway.

Straight-line winds can be just as rough. On May 8, 2024, the National Weather Service estimated winds near 85 mph at Taylorsville. In the January 2026 ice storm, spotters around Green Hill reported 0.3 to 0.6 inch of ice.
