Roof Replacement in Spring Hill, TN

If your Spring Hill home still has its original roof, there’s a good chance it’s 20 years old or more, and that’s when replacement starts to come up. We replace roofs across Spring Hill with a full tear-off and our own crew, and most homes take about 1 day on average. It starts with a free roof inspection and a written quote, so you know what you’re getting before you decide.

Not sure you need a whole roof? Our Spring Hill roof repair page covers fixing the problem instead. For how replacement works anywhere we go, see roof replacement, and for paying over time, Acorn Finance.

Why so many Spring Hill roofs are due at once

Spring Hill grew fast after the GM plant opened around 1990, and subdivisions went up in waves. When one roof on a street starts losing granules and curling, the neighbors’ roofs are usually right behind it. That also means many homes were built with the same builder-grade details: thin underlayment, short drip edge, and attic ventilation that was never quite enough.

A replacement is the time to fix those details, not copy them. When the old roof is off, we can correct the ventilation, add drip edge along every edge, and put ice and water shield in the valleys and along the low edges where leaks start.

Choosing a shingle for Spring Hill weather

We’re certified with GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, TAMKO and Malarkey, so you can pick the line and color that fits your house and your HOA. Many Spring Hill subdivisions have HOA rules on roof color. We give you the manufacturer, product line and color name in writing to submit, and we wait for approval before scheduling.

Spring Hill sits on open ground that takes the full force of spring storms. If hail worries you, ask about Class 4 impact-resistant shingles. Our crews install Malarkey Vista and Vista AR, and prefer Vista AR because it also resists the black algae streaks you see on north-facing slopes. Our post on Class 4 shingles in Middle Tennessee explains what they do and don’t do.

What it costs

A full shingle replacement on an average home usually runs $12,000 to $16,000. That’s an average, not a quote. Size, pitch, layers to tear off, decking and the shingle line all move the number. You get a written quote for your roof after the free inspection.

Install day

We set tarps over your beds and walkways, tear off to the deck, and check every sheet of decking. If any is soft, we show you photos and replace it only on a written change order you approve. Then drip edge, ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, new flashing and pipe boots, shingles, ridge vent and caps. We never leave a roof open overnight, we run a magnet across the yard for nails, and we walk the finished roof with you.

Most Spring Hill homes are done in about 1 day. Larger, steep, metal or tile jobs can take longer, and cold weather slows things a little. In March 2026, right after the January ice storm, our crew replaced a 34-square GAF Timberline HDZ roof on a Murfreesboro home through freezing temperatures and on-and-off rain. They hand-sealed every shingle and finished in 2 days, and the house was watertight before the next storm.

Every new roof gets our lifetime workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer’s material warranty. See our Spring Hill roofing page for the rest of what we do here.

Spring Hill roof replacement questions

How long does a roof replacement take in Spring Hill?

About 1 day on average. Larger, steep, metal or tile jobs can take longer, and weather or decking repairs can add time. We give you a realistic schedule before we start.

Can you help with my HOA’s roof approval?

Yes. We give you the manufacturer, product line and color name in writing to submit, and we don’t schedule the install until the HOA approves it.

Do you tear off the old roof or put new shingles over it?

We tear off every time. It’s the only way to check the decking and fix it before the new roof goes on.

Can I finance a new roof?

Yes, through our partner Acorn Finance. Checking your options won’t affect your credit score, and approval is up to the lender.
