Your neighbor's roof isn't your roof
Spring Hill grew in waves after the GM plant (originally Saturn) opened around 1990. Subdivisions like Wades Grove, Cherry Grove, Campbell Station, Benevento and Port Royal Estates went up a street at a time, so whole blocks often have roofs the same age. When the first few houses on a street get new roofs, the rest of the street starts getting knocks on the door. We’d rather inspect your roof and tell you where it actually stands. Sun exposure, ventilation and storm damage vary a lot from house to house.
Don Hane runs the company that way on purpose. He served two tours in the U.S. Navy, including Desert Storm, and he doesn’t sell roofs people don’t need.
What we check on Spring Hill homes
Many homes from the first building waves are on original roofs that are 20 years old or more. We look for the issues that tend to repeat on a street, like an undersized ridge vent, short drip edge or pipe boots cracking early, and we check the attic and decking before we recommend anything. Tornado country to the south
On May 8, 2024, an EF-3 tornado tracked from the Duck River east of Columbia and crossed I-65 south of Spring Hill, tearing large sections off roofs. Five years earlier, on June 19, 2019, microbursts with pockets of 80 to 85 mph wind hit northern Spring Hill. After a storm we photograph the roof and give you a written report you can send with a claim. The claim itself is between you and your insurer.
