Most of our work already comes from neighbors talking to neighbors. This is how we say thanks for that.
How it works
- Ask first. Let your friend know you’re passing their name and number to Roof Troops, and that we’ll give them a call.
- Tell us who. Call us at 615-258-9977, or use our contact form and type “Referral” in the message along with your friend’s name, phone number and street address.
- We call them once. We introduce ourselves, mention that you sent us, and offer a free roof inspection. No pressure.
- We do the work. If they hire us, our own crew handles their roof start to finish.
- You get a thank-you. Once their roof job is finished and paid in full, we send you a Visa gift card.

The fine print, in plain English
- The gift card is earned after the referred roof job is finished and paid in full. Inspections and estimates alone don’t count.
- Every referral gets the same thank-you. It doesn’t change with the size of the job or with how the job is paid for.
- One gift card per referred job. The first person to refer a given household gets the credit.
- The person you refer has to be new to Roof Troops. You can’t refer your own home or anyone who lives with you.
- The thank-you is never tied to an insurance claim, a deductible or a review. We never waive deductibles.
- Gift cards aren’t given to insurance agents, insurance adjusters, public adjusters, real estate agents or brokers, home inspectors, property or HOA managers, or anyone else involved in the referred home’s insurance claim or sale. We’re still glad to get their referrals.
- Roof Troops employees and their households aren’t eligible.
- We may change or end the program at any time. Any referral already sent to us is honored under the terms in place when you sent it.

What do I get for a referral?
A Visa gift card you can use wherever you like. It’s our thank-you for trusting us with someone you know. Every referral earns the same thank-you, no matter the size of the job or how it’s paid for.
When do I get the gift card?
After the roof job for the person you referred is finished and paid in full. We’ll reach out to you then to get it to you.
Does my friend have to file an insurance claim?
No. Any finished and paid roof job counts the same, whether it’s paid out of pocket, financed or covered by insurance. The thank-you is never tied to an insurance claim or a deductible, and we never waive deductibles.
Do I have to be a past customer?
No. Past customers, neighbors, family and friends are all welcome to refer someone. The only people who can’t receive the gift card are listed in the fine print above, mostly folks who work in insurance or real estate.
I work in insurance or real estate. Can I still send people to you?
Yes, and we appreciate it. We just don’t give gift cards or any other reward for those referrals, so there’s never a question about whose interest you’re looking out for.
Will you pester my friend?
No. We’ll call them once to introduce ourselves and offer a free inspection. If they’re not interested, that’s the end of it. We won’t text them unless they tell us it’s okay.
